My Cousins

On friday my mom had to go to a wedding in Salt lake, and so she dropped me and my siblings off at my cousins house. We watched my Girlfriends Boyfriend and by the way it is a marvelous movie. When my mom got back she picked up my two little brothers and then me and my sisters and brother got to stay at my cousins house. When my mom left me and my sister natalie and my two cousins went and got some ice cream at a little store by my cousins house. It was really wonderful. when we got back we watched some movies and probably stayed up till about 1. I was awake the longest and slept on the floor. But i can fall asleep pretty much anywhere so it wasn't that bad. After breakfast we went to H & M and since they had just barely opened we had to wait in this long line but it went pretty fast so you didn't have to wait that long. They had some way super cute things their and my sister got an adorable sweater and i am way excited to wear it! When we got back me and my cousin Jesse went to go babysit this little boy. He was really cute, but it took a long time to get him to fall asleep. Then my mom came and picked me up after she came back from a different wedding and then we went to the reception. It was pretty fun and they had a hot chocolate bar with all different things to put in your hot chocolate and then some pumpkin breads. They had a photo booth there so me and natalie went and got our picture taken. Then we went straight home from the reception.

So this cake i made with my friend Emmeline and it was really fun! Anyways so i have the recipe of the fondant so here it is!

Rolled Buttercream Fondant

1 cup light corn syrup
1cup shortening
½ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2lb powdered sugar

Directions

In a large bowl stir together shortening and corn syrup. Mix in the salt and vanilla flavoring. Gradually mix in powdered sugar until it is a stiff dough.
